Ignite Boulder 12 Dates

Like schoolchildren huddled around a campfire after a January snowstorm we are proud to announce Ignite Boulder 12 (the fiercest pice of nerdery you have ever laid eyes on) will be September 2nd, 2010, at the historic Chautauqua Auditorium. This is amazing is many ways: September weather will make it seem like free air conditioning BBQ lines will be at least half, wait, perhaps even less, than last time Free beer will be plentiful as traffic on I-70, oh so cold and delicious The speakers will drop knowledge like it is in fact a hot potato Tickets are on sale here (still

Ignite Boulder 11 Notes!

We had our organizer meeting tonight to go over the feedback from 11! We are very proud of what we have built and the community around Ignite Boulder.  Just amazing how big that we have become! Feedback we heard loud and clear: Food took too long to get (the venue was in charge of this, and a few more staff members would be a great fix) Beer area was small for the group The sound at the back of the auditorium was echoing The sparks could be geekier All of this will be fixed going forward.  We are looking for dates / venue for Ignite Boulder 12! Oh yeah, already

The Chautauqua Auditorium (host to Ignit

It amazes me how many folks coming to Ignite Boulder 11 have never been to the Chautauqua Auditorium.  It is a treasure, and we are 10/10 excited to have an event there! From wikipedia: The Chautauqua Auditorium, located at the Colorado Chautauqua in Boulder, Colorado, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 21, 1978. The wooden building was constructed for the first season of the Colorado Chautauqua in 1898, and through the years has been a venue for many lectures,
