Speaking At Ignite Boulder

Congrats on speaking at Ignite!!!

Stoked to have you speaking at Ignite! First thing is first: ignite is a different type of event. It is fun, engaging and fast paced. Don’t expect to give a talk like you ever done, take it up a notch.

Ignite is 20 slides that auto advance after 15 seconds.  Your first slide should be your name / title of your talk, and your last slide should be your name / topic / contact.  Use big fonts!  Don’t steal images (use sxc.hu and attribute!).

Stick to that, please.

No sound effects, no animations (hear that? not one. If we find them they will be replaced with pictures of muppet characters and big bold text saying ‘this presenter can’t read). Think we are not serious? Try us.

All presentations must be emailed by noon on the Monday before the event.  If you miss this deadline, you forfeit your spot (if it is by an hour, no worries).  andrew@endoze.com

You can use any template you would like.  Here is one you could use.

Thou shall not pitch your product.  If you do, your mic will be cut and a bucket of ice water will be thrown on you.  Again, try us.

Tell something of social value.  Teach us something.  Show us what you are a geek about.  Drop some knowledge.

Come to Ignite early!  Show starts at 7, so get there by 6!
