The very first Ignite Boulder took place October 30th, 2008 at the Atlas Building on the University of Colorado campus. It was the only venue in town that would rent to our new group and we were very grateful for this 150 person venue! The tickets were free and we reached the capacity of the room starting the long, unbroken, sell out record for Ignite Boulder. There were 13 speakers that presented on topics from party crashing, comedy, minimalism and food. You can see the roots of what made the now great event. The host was Andrew Hyde. This is what started it all!
